Applicants must apply to the Long Term Health Education and Training (LTHET) board to be considered for this program. Application packets are completed prior to March of each year for board consideration and applicant selection is made in early July. Students must successfully complete 24 months of training at the Army Medical Department Center and School and Brooke Army Medical Center which is located at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. A Doctor of Science in Occupational Therapy (DScOT) will be awarded from Baylor University upon the successful completion of all coursework and successful defense of the evidence-based research study.
