Welcome
The U.S. Army-Baylor Master’s Program in Nutrition (MPN) follows the Future Education Model (FEM), a competency-based education (CBE) approach that combines classroom instruction with supervised experiential learning (SEL). Nutrition and Dietetics is aligning with other health professions—such as physical therapy, speech-language pathology, nursing, and pharmacy—that have already adopted CBE models. Similar to a coordinated program, the FEM’s integrated, one-step approach to completing both academic and experiential requirements creates a more streamlined and enriched learning environment.
Students who successfully complete the fully Accreditation Council in Education for Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited 24-month program, (66 academic credit hours with integrated SEL hours) will receive a Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Baylor University.
